start to finish, maintaining a professional look and feel that is the same
across all pages. The initial design layout includes:
- Graphics design, buttons and layouts for uniform page appearance
throughout the website
- Including your existing company logo throughout the design
- Linking the web pages together
- Writing the content for each page
- Scanning your photos, sizing them, and optimizing them for
downloading
- Programming a simple order form
- Programming a simple customer contact form (Does not include more
complex programming like a shopping cart)
- Customizing the graphics and editing the photos for optimum
downloading are the most time-consuming parts of the work. A site that
is graphics-intensive costs more per page than a more text-oriented
site. An average custom-designed site usually works out to about $200
per page.
